HEATead 汤火茶 Wuyi rock tea

大红袍、肉桂、水仙，三味来自福建武夷山的岩茶。不用茶壶，咖啡杯也行；热的、冰的、加奶，都好喝。Three rock teas from Wuyishan, Fujian. No teapot needed, a coffee mug will do: hot, iced or with milk.
汤在上，火在下。It’s heated.
把「烫」字拆开，就是汤在上、火在下：底下有火，汤才会烫。汤火茶的名字就是这么来的。英文名 HEATead 谐音 heated。
01 — 岩茶 Rock tea
长在岩石间的茶。 Tea from the rock.
武夷岩茶是乌龙茶的一种，产自福建武夷山。茶树长在岩壁和峡谷之间，叶子采下来要摇青、杀青、揉捻，最后慢慢焙火。喝起来先是石头一样的骨感，再是花香，老茶客管这叫「岩骨花香」。
Wuyi rock tea is an oolong from the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian. The bushes grow between cliffs and gorges; the picked leaf is tossed, fired, rolled and finally roasted, slowly. The cup starts mineral and turns floral: rock bones, flower scent.

茶树扎根在岩缝里，茶汤里有一股石头一样的骨感，这是岩茶和别的乌龙最不一样的地方。
焙火 Roast
最后一道工序是焙火。火候决定了茶汤的厚薄，也决定了它喝下去暖不暖。
花香 Flower
岩骨之后是香气：大红袍的花香，肉桂的桂皮香，水仙的兰香，三款各走各的路。
02 — 三味 Three teas
喝十几款， 挑出这三款。 Three, out of a dozen.
岩茶很难标准化：每一年的气候、雨水不一样，师傅做青、焙火的手法差一点点，出来的味道就不一样。所以每一次选茶，我们都把当年做好的十几款茶反反复复喝上五六轮，才挑出这三款。
Rock tea never comes out the same twice. The weather and the rain change every year, and the smallest difference in how the leaf is worked and roasted changes the cup. So each time we taste a dozen or so teas, five or six rounds each, before we choose these three.

03 — 包装 Packaging
奶白盒身， 一条岩绿。 Cream box, cliff-green band.
「汤火茶」三个字是手写的，我们没有重描，毛笔的飞白原样留着；英文 HEATEAD 中间的 TEA 印成实色，其余字母印浅色，茶就藏在 heated 里。整套包装只用一条渐变的绿，从茶树扎根的岩壁深绿，到新芽的嫩绿；包装越小，绿色越深，最深的岩绿留给了茶包。每款茶配一片拓印的茶叶，三片叶形各不相同。盒角印着 100°C，因为岩茶要用滚水泡。三味礼盒是一片白卡折成的翻盖盒，打开盒盖，迎面是一整面「武夷岩茶」。
The 汤火茶 in the logo is handwritten. We never redrew it, so the dry-brush gaps stay; in HEATEAD the TEA is printed solid and the other letters pale, so the tea sits inside heated. The whole range runs on one green gradient, from the deep green of the cliff where the bushes take root to the pale green of a new bud. The smaller the pack, the deeper the green, and the deepest goes to the sachet. Each tea carries its own leaf rubbing, and no two leaves share a shape. Every box has 100°C in the corner, because rock tea wants boiling water. The gift set folds from a single piece of card; lift the lid and the inside reads 武夷岩茶.
04 — 产地 Origin
茶从武夷山来， 中间没有别人。 From Wuyishan, no one in between.
中间没有经销商，也没有门店，好茶才能用实在的价格交到你手里。茶装进白色飞机盒寄出，打开是牛皮纸内侧，印着一句「你的茶到了」。
No distributor and no shop, so fine tea reaches you at a fair price. It travels in a white mailer box; the kraft inside says “You’ve got tea.”
